LEE CLARK AND SHOCKING SEX OFFENCES IN PERTH, ABERDEEN
A 19-year-old man named Lee Clark from Kirriemuir has been implicated in a series of disturbing offences involving underage girls, with his crimes primarily taking place in Perth and Aberdeen. It was reported that Clark recently admitted to engaging in sexual activities with a 13-year-old girl in his bedroom, an act that came to light after the young girl confided in a friend, leading to police intervention.
This disclosure prompted authorities to investigate the teenager's actions, unearthing further disturbing details.
In addition to the incident with the 13-year-old, Clark was involved in an online encounter with a 14-year-old girl, during which he engaged in explicit sexual acts on webcam.
The online interaction took place while the two were participating in a game of Truth or Dare on a platform that included the MSN chat service.
Clark and the 14-year-old had initiated contact through Facebook, which quickly escalated from innocent chatting to flirtation.
According to reports, Clark became completely nude during the online game the following night, and he performed a sexual act on himself while the webcam was active.
When the 14-year-old girl dared him to repeat the act in subsequent conversations, he complied again, this time with his shorts on.
These explicit exchanges prompted the girl's teachers to become aware of the incidents, leading to police being involved.
The events in question are believed to have occurred between February 1 and March 10 of 2011.
Further investigations revealed that Clark was aware the girl was aged between 13 and 14 years.
The court heard that he acknowledged knowing that the girl was under the age of 16 when questioned by officers.
The situation took a more alarming turn a few weeks later when Clark arranged to meet another schoolgirl, who was only 13, at his residence.
The two communicated via text messages, with the girl later recounting that Clark was persistent and repeatedly asked for sex.
She felt overwhelmed by his insistence and resigned herself to the situation.
Following the meeting, Clark received a text message from the girl asking if she would get pregnant, to which he responded that she would not.
Clark was subsequently detained, cautioned, and admitted to knowing that the girl was underage.
He faced initial charges of rape; however, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor, which was accepted by the court.
His defense lawyer, Matt Jackson, stated that Clark genuinely believed the girl consented to the acts.
The case was scheduled to continue with sentencing deferred until January 8 at the High Court in Glasgow.
The seriousness of Clark's actions has raised significant concern, highlighting the risks posed by online grooming and exploitation of minors in multiple locations across Scotland, including Perth and Aberdeen.
