Jamie Dewar, 26 from Fife is a serial rapist and predatory paedophile that has sexually abused dozens of young women and girls.
Jamie was charged with the violent rape of an 8 year old girl in 2010, a court resulted in a hung jury 3 Years later in 2013 he was charged with intentionally exposing himself to a minor, the procurator fiscal advised that insufficient evidence was available to take further action. Jamie-Lee Colin David Preston-Dewar was born on the 12th November 1998 in Folkestone, Kent through incest. His Mother Amanda Preston and Father Barrie Preston were cousins and accidentally conceived Jamie.
A study by Queen’s University Belfast, proves that a child of consanguineous parents is at increased risk of common mood disorders and psychoses.
Jamie was raised in a highly abusive environment, he was placed onto the Child Protection Register at the age of 5 (2003 - 2006) due to concerns of neglect and physical abuse. Domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, poor home conditions and lack of supervision by his sole parent Amanda Preston were all contributing factors to his early life trauma.
In February 2006, aged 8, whilst attending an SEN school due to his "extremely violent behaviour", Jamie was found by a member of staff in a secluded part of the school grounds simulating sex with another student [VICTIM 1]. Clothing, including underwear were removed.
In 2008, aged 10, under the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Folkestone, Jamie was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. According to local residents of the Hawkinge estate where Jamie lived, there were several concerning incidents reported to the Police including a new-born baby [VICTIM 2] being innapropraitely touched by Jamie aswell as extreme sexual-violence exerted by his triplet uncles Michael, Graham and John Dewar towards women. Jamie, was extremely volatile towards his mother and brother and was known to have an unusual fascination with fires and the television show "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

Jamie Rapes an 8 Year Old Girl

The victim was raped in her own garden on a dirty mattress that Jamie had dragged into a locked bin shed. The victim was left with a life-long scar across her head and life-long trauma.
Afraid of Jamie and his uncle, the victim kept the incident a secret for 2 years before going forward to the Police.The brave victim kept crucial evidence including the underwear she wore on the day for 2 years and DNA evidence was extracted.
A 5 day trial at Canterbury Crown Court was held in 2014 where Jamie admitted to having sex with the 8 year old, but denied raping her. A split-decision hung jury was the result. Due to the ages of Jamie and the victim and CPS procedural delays, a retrial was not scheduled and an automatic not-guilty verdict was recorded.

The main reason for the move was his mothers inability to Control Jamie's behaviour. According to social work reports, his mother raised multiple concerns about his unusual behaviour. Police recorded Jamie's behaviour as "on-edge", "highly volative" and "unpredicatable"
When Jamie moved to Scotland he attended "The Bridges" school, for children with behavioural issues. Staff recorded, Jamie's unusual presentation and sexualised behaviour. According to reports, it would take up to 6 members of staff to restrain Jamie. Speaking to pupils present at the time, they mentioned memories of Jamie trying to hit people with weapons and attempting to sexually assault someone on the way home.[VICTIM 4]
In January 2013, prior to the Court Case, Social Work were informed that Jamie was boasting to Pupils about "having sex with his sister demi". The social work decided that this should not be explored as he had no sisters. Jamie has 4 half-sisters that were not disclosed.
In April 2013, Jamie was charged with Intentionally exposing genitals for another to see without their consent.[VICTIM 5] The police reports, allege that the victims were random female minors and there was noted concerns that this could escalate to more serious ciminal offences.
The case was referred to the childrens panel due to insufficient evidence for the procurator fiscal to act on. His grandmother, pleaded for a conditional discharge due to Jamie's ongoing mental health concerns.

Later in 2013, aged 15, Jamie began a new relationship with an 11 year old girl.[VICTIM 7] According to a family member, Jamie took the young girl hostage in his grandfathers caravan, in Cowdenbeath for several hours before she was freed by her concerned family.
According to the victim, Jamie would continue to haunt and groom her into sexual acitivites for several years. She recounts being Spiked with Benzodiazepeines and on one occasion being urinated on.
There are further allegations of women being assaulted throughout 2013 and 2014.[VICTIM 8]
In March 2015, Jamie began a relationship with a 16 year old girl, which lasted for 10 months.[VICTIM 9] In January 2016 due to "Jamie's controlling behaviour". According to a victim statement, the girl felt threatend and frightened of Jamie. He would isolate her from her friends and emotionally abuse her if she refused to perform sexual acts. On the 7th of February 2016, Jamie was arrested for harassment after appearing at the girls house and attempting to smash the window and break in. Jamie appeared at court however was released by the Procurator Fiscal due to insufficient evidence.

was endured by the victim. She fell pregnant with Jamie's first child in February 2017. On the 2nd June 2017, she goes to A&E with reduced foetal movements after being assaulted by Jamie. Jamie was arrested and charged with assault and bailed. The procurator fiscal removed charges with insufficient evidence. Several calls for concern by neighbours were made and eventually in April 2018 the relationship ended after Jamie assaulted the girl by means of strangulation and beating. Jamie was arrested and charged with bail conditions, he broke the bail conditions several times and was sentenced to 19 months in prison after threatening to kill her in the court at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. Jamie's mother appealed the sentence based on diminished responsibility due to his mental health conditions. Jamie's sentence was reduced to a community order.
On the 5th of November (Bonfire Night) 2016, 5 days before his 18th birthday, Jamie had sex with a 14 year old girl in the tunnel in Lochore. [VICTIM 11]
On the 27th of November 2016, aged 18 Jamie had sex with a 14 year old girl in the park at Lochore Meadows. [VICTIM 12] The victim was intoxicated and mocked when Jamie boasted about using her whilst she was menstruating.
On the 5th of November (Bonfire Night) 2016, 5 days before his 18th birthday, Jamie had sex with a 14 year old girl in the tunnel in Lochore. [VICTIM 11]
On the 27th of November 2016, aged 18 Jamie had sex with a 14 year old girl in the park at Lochore Meadows. [VICTIM 12] The victim was intoxicated and mocked when Jamie boasted about using her whilst she was menstruating.
In February 2018, aged 19, Jamie attended a house party in Dunfermline and kicked a young lady down the stairs of her house. [VICTIM 13] Jamie was arrested and charged with assault and bailed. The procurator fiscal removed charges with insufficient evidence.
In December 2018, aged 20, shortly after being released from Jail, Jamie started a sexual relationship with a 13 year old girl. [VICTIM 14] The victim, stated it was consentual and that Jamie's mother Amanda was fully aware of the relationship her son was having.
In June 2019, Jamie emotionally abused a vulnerable girl and recorded her slitting her wrists. [VICTIM 15] The video was shared on social media.
In 2019, there were 3 girls sexually assaulted.
The first girl [VICTIM 16] stated that Jamie drugged her rendering her unconscious. She woke to pain and being told that Jamie bragged about inserting a hoover pole into her vagina and exploiting her.
The second incident, was a 15 year old girl who was drunk at a house party and had sex with Jamie. She accused Jamie of harassing her and her family afterwards. [VICTIM 17] In September 2019, Jamie raped a young girl. [VICTIM 18] A statement was put into Police Scotland several years later but they have yet to act accordingly.
In 2020, Jamie randomly exposed himself to a women in Broomhead Flats, Dunfermline without consent. [VICTIM 19] There was no report made to the police.
Between 2020 and 2022, Jamie Dewar was involved in several domestic related incidents with a vulnerable girl. [VICTIM 20] There are ongoing police investigations which he has yet to be arrested or charged for.

An IDR , led by social work after the child disclosed to a Child Protection Officer, that Jamie had rubbed his "cold tomatoes" on her feet and that she had seen his "willy" and his "bum". The victim went onto make further disclosures about the specifics of 2 seperate incidents, one in the bedroom and a second in a bush under the Tesco car park in Dunfermline where another young child was present [VICTIM 22].
After the allegations were made, a criminal investigation by the Police was never launched as there was insufficient evidence and it was decided further social work discussions were required. Social Work never spoke to the victim again and the case was closed.

It is evident that Jamie's "mental health conditions" are deep and complicated. According to medical reports, he was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism around 10 years old.
One could point towards his incestuous conception, his mothers drug and alcohol abuse, his fathers absence and his uncles violent outbursts for the build up of trauma.
In 2014, shortly before he turned 16, Jamie's social worker referred him back to CAMHS due to several growing concerns related to his presentation and behaviour.
It was stated that Jamie finds it difficult to distinguish between fact and fiction. He would reportedly adopt characters from films he watched and convince himself he was them. Jamie had a fake twin identity called "Alex The Twin", which had it's own Facebook account. He would log in and communicate with himself and out troubling issues.
Friends also contacted social services after he told them he had made a girl bleed from her vagina and anal passage.
Jamie was assessed using the AIM supervision test which resulted in recommending a high/medium level of supervision. Additionally, jamie was put referred to a programme of therapeutic intervention but declined after the hung-jury decision in Kent.

Amanda currently works at Kinghorn Primary School as a dinner lady. Fife Council have been contacted to alert them of the potential danger she poses to children. Amanda resides at 54A Rossend Terrace in Burntisland, a stone throw away from her Son Jamie who lives at 31 Melville Gardens.
There is a strong belief that Amanda has been complicit in Jamie's behaviour and has been aware of his actions for several years. She has been seen to be in denial and has been known to threaten victims in the past to keep them from speaking out about Jamie's horrendous actions.
When confronted with the evidence of Jamie's actions, Amanda has been known to threaten, harass and demonise victims.
