March 2007 KIDDIE PORN FOSTER DAD IS SPARED JAIL A FOSTER dad who collected child sex pictures was put on probation yesterday.  George Robb, 55, admitted having almost 3000 vile kiddie porn images on his computer.  Robb, a hotel worker, had fostered up to 60 children with wife Dorothy.  Aberdeen Sheriff Court was told she had walked out on him and he had lost his job after the images were found when he put his computer in for repair.  Sheriff Colin Harris said he would put him on two years’ probation on condition he attended a sex offenders’ project.  But Robb insisted before he was sentenced that he was not a paedophile. He said: “I have no sexual interest in kids. I don’t know why I did it.”  Robb, of Garthdee, Aberdeen, had not fostered any kids for seven years before the offences came to light.  A spokeswoman for abuse survivors’ group SAS said: “This is no kind of justice. All of those children he had pictures of suffered abuse.”
