BIRMINGHAM PAEDOPHILE NURSE RICHARD LODER GIVEN LIFE BAN
In December 2010, a Birmingham-based paedophile nurse was permanently banned from practicing after being convicted of serious sexual offenses.
Richard Loder, from Birmingham, was sentenced last April to four years in prison and received a lifetime ban preventing him from working with children.
Loder, 58 years old, was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life following his conviction on seven counts of indecent assault involving girls under the age of 14.
The incidents led the Nursing and Midwifery Council to expel him from the profession.
At the time of his conviction, Loder's address was listed as Hazel Croft, Northfield.
He was employed as a learning disabilities nurse by the South Birmingham Primary Care Trust.
The regulatory body confirmed that the decision to strike him off the register was a direct result of his criminal actions.
