November 2018 Orford man admits distributing indecent videos of children and animals A 35-year-old married man who was found with indecent videos of children and animals will not go to prison. Philip Peartree, of Clegge Street in Orford, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday. Police searched his house after a warrant was granted and discovered the videos and photos of young children and extreme pornographic videos involving animals. The 35-year-old admitted to two charges of distributing indecent videos of a child, one count of making an indecent video of a child and one count of possessing indecent videos of a child. Children in the category A videos were aged between seven and nine, in the category B videos children were aged between six and eight. Peartree was handed 16 months for the category A videos, eight months for the category B videos and six months for all other counts. These sentences were suspended for two years. Judge Denis Watson ordered Peartree to sign the sex offender’s register for 10 years and a sexual harm prevention order was also made.
