DAVID WILSON CAUGHT IN HUDDERSFIELD IN SHOCKING INDECENT ACT NEAR PRIMARY SCHOOL
In April 2018, a disturbing incident unfolded in Huddersfield involving a local resident named David Wilson, aged 66, which drew significant public concern and legal action.Wilson was observed engaging in an indecent act from his bedroom window, which overlooked a primary school in the Clayton West area.
Witnesses reported seeing him standing in his room with his blinds open, pleasuring himself in full view of the street.
Members of the public, including parents and guardians collecting children from Kaye’s First and Nursery School, were alarmed by the sight.
Several individuals called authorities to alert them about the inappropriate behavior, fearing that children might have been able to see what was happening.
Although there was no evidence suggesting that any children directly witnessed the act, the proximity of Wilson’s window to the school playground raised serious concerns about public decency and safety.
Wilson, who resides on Holmfield Road in Clayton West, was brought before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court to face charges related to his conduct.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, specifically by touching himself at his window while children were nearby.
Prosecutor Natalie Chapman detailed the incident, stating that it occurred on October 13 of the previous year.
She described how Wilson was seen standing, naked from the waist down, in his room with the blinds open, exposing himself to the street.
Witnesses reported that Wilson was standing during the act, although he later claimed he was seated on his bed facing the window.
He denied intentionally standing up but admitted that he might have stumbled over as he finished.
Wilson insisted that he did not derive any sexual gratification from children and believed he was within his rights to behave as he did inside his own home.
He also stated that he had no curtains and that his venetian blinds were open at the time of the incident.
Further court proceedings revealed that Wilson had a prior conviction from 2006 for possession of an indecent photo of a child.
This history added weight to the court’s considerations regarding his sentencing.
The magistrates ordered a comprehensive probation report to be prepared before sentencing, scheduled for April 24 at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court.
During the hearing, the court also considered issuing a Sexual Harm Prevention Order to restrict Wilson’s future conduct and protect the public from potential harm.

Wilson was granted unconditional bail pending his next court appearance, with the court making it clear that the case would be closely monitored to prevent any further incidents.
