Description A man has been convicted of multiple sexual offences committed against a teenage girl who showed incredible bravery in coming forward to speak to police. Colin Moore – 57 (04.06.66) of Grove Lane, Southwark was found guilty of four counts of rape and five counts of indecent assault following the conclusion of a trial at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 24 May. Moore was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing at the same venue on 9 September 2024. The court heard how Moore took advantage of the girl who was under the age of 16 at the time the offending started in 1995. Moore’s abuse took place over the next four years at locations in west and central London. The girl, by now an adult, came forward and reported the abuse to police in 2020. Moore was arrested and subsequently charged with numerous offences.
