DUNDEE ENGINEER JAILED AND REGISTERED AS SEX OFFENDER FOR MASSAGE ROOM SEX ACT
A Dundee engineer has been placed on the sex offenders register after he was found guilty of engaging in a sexual act during a massage at a city beauty salon.Shadman Khan, aged 29 of Menzieshill Road, was convicted at Dundee Sheriff Court of causing a person to be present while he engaged in sexual activity.
The trial revealed Khan entered a massage parlour the day before and was turned away due to a 'bad feeling' from the boss, but he later returned.
During the massage, Khan was observed by the masseuse to behave inappropriately, making noises suggestive of arousal and engaging in explicit behaviour for about 20 minutes.
Despite claiming he was in pain and adjusting or scratching himself due to discomfort, he was convicted after the court found his account self-serving.
The sheriff placed Khan on the sex offenders register, and he will be sentenced next month after reports are prepared.
The court proceedings included testimony from a massage therapist who described Khan's inappropriate behaviour, including slipping his hand under his body and making noises, which made her uncomfortable and violated her boundaries.
Khan denied masturbating in front of the masseuse, claiming he was only seeking relief from pain and that his wetness was due to sweating or urination.
The court emphasized that Khan's behaviour during the massage constituted a sexual act, and he was ordered to register as a sex offender.
His sentencing is scheduled for September 20.
