Scott Wilkes, a sexual offender from Dundee, was apprehended after he was found sending inappropriate messages to an undercover police officer he believed to be a minor.

The 30-year-old man admitted in Dundee's sheriff court to making numerous sexual comments through online messaging platforms on November 27, 2025.

Sheriff Mark O’Hanlon ordered Wilkes to be monitored and to remain on the sex offenders register for a year.
