DUNDEE TEEN’S POLICE CHASE ENDS IN HORRIFIC CAR CRASH
A woman was rendered unconscious for half an hour after a teenage Audi driver, who was being chased by police through Dundee, crashed into her vehicle.
Kirk initially collided with a Vauxhall Corsa carrying an elderly couple in their 70s, then struck a Kia Rio operated by a 51-year-old woman, causing her to sustain a brain hemorrhage and shoulder injuries.
He then fled the scene but was eventually caught after using PAVA spray.
Kirk admitted in Dundee Sheriff Court to causing serious injury through dangerous driving and is currently awaiting sentencing.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop for police, driving without insurance, and not displaying L-plates.
His family has since relocated from Dundee, and the sheriff postponed sentencing until next month to obtain a social work assessment.
Additionally, he was placed under an interim driving ban.
