PAUL WALKER SHREWSBURY CHILD SEX OFFENDER ADMITS MULTIPLE OFFENSES AND BREACH OF ORDER
In a case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Shrewsbury, 19-year-old Paul Walker has confessed to a series of serious child sex offences committed over a span of two months. The proceedings took place at Shrewsbury Crown Court, where Walker also admitted to violating a sexual harm prevention order that had been previously imposed on him.
Walker’s admissions include seven counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged 15, as well as one count of sending sexually explicit messages to another girl.
Additionally, he pleaded guilty to breaching the sexual harm prevention order, which was originally issued in December 2016 following a prior offence.
The court heard that all these criminal acts occurred between early March and late May of this year.
It was revealed during the hearing that Walker communicated with the second girl via a PlayStation 4 gaming console, which he used to send messages of a sexual nature.
The breach of the order was particularly concerning because Walker failed to inform either the girl or her parents that the order was in effect, thus violating the restrictions placed upon him.
The court was informed that Walker’s address was listed as Brinsford Prison, Brinsford, indicating that he was already in custody at the time of the hearing.
Judge Jonathon Gosling, who presided over the case, adjourned proceedings for sentencing and expressed his serious concern about Walker’s actions.
In his remarks, the judge stated, “These are very serious offences and I am very concerned about you.” As the case moves toward sentencing scheduled for September, the community remains alert to the implications of Walker’s actions and the ongoing legal process surrounding this disturbing case.
