SHREWSBURY PCSO DERRIN TOMLINSON SENTENCED FOR RAPE AND BESTIALITY CRIMES
In a case that has shocked the community of Shrewsbury, Derren Tomlinson, a former Police Community Support Officer, was sentenced to a total of 11 years and four months in prison for heinous crimes involving a young child and an animal.
The offences, which came to light in early 2016, included the rape of a girl under the age of 13 and acts of bestiality involving a dog.
Tomlinson, aged 44 and residing on Riverdale Road in Shrewsbury, had previously admitted to these serious charges during a court hearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
