MICHAEL JOHNSON FROM MILTON KEYNES REVEALED AS CONVICTED PAEDOPHILE SHAMED BY FAMILY AND COMMUNITY

In a deeply troubling revelation, Michael Johnson, a man with ties to Milton Keynes, has publicly admitted to a dark chapter in his past, involving a conviction for sexual offenses against a minor. Johnson, now aged 67, disclosed that he was sentenced to four years in prison in 1986 after pleading guilty to five counts of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. He served approximately two and a half years of that sentence before being released, and he maintains that he has since undergone complete rehabilitation.

Johnson expressed profound remorse and personal shame regarding his actions, emphasizing his regret for the harm caused. His admission comes amid ongoing family turmoil following allegations of sexual abuse linked to the late Jimmy Savile, the disgraced former television star. Johnson’s family, deeply affected by the revelations, took the step of removing the headstone from Savile’s grave after the allegations surfaced posthumously.

In a heartfelt statement, Johnson reflected on the impact of these revelations on his family. He stated, “As a member of Jimmy Savile’s family, I too shared their feelings of disappointment and was appalled at the level of allegations made toward him after his recent death. This has been a burden for me and my immediate family since that time, affecting our social, domestic, and business lives, as well as the victims of Jimmy Savile.”

He continued, “My family and I are still burdened by the need to address my past, which dates back nearly 30 years, when I served a 2.5-year sentence for a sexual offense against a 14-year-old girl. I cannot stress enough my own self-disgust and sorrow for that young person. Since my release, I have worked hard to rehabilitate myself and live a responsible life, supported by my forgiving family. I have tried to move forward, but the shadow of my past and the family connection to Jimmy Savile continue to weigh heavily on us.”

Johnson’s wife, Karen, who resides in Loughton near Milton Keynes, revealed that she was unaware of her husband's criminal history until a custody battle brought it to light. She recounted that social services conducted an assessment and, to her shock, discovered that Johnson had served time in 1986 for sexual offenses against a child, a fact she was completely unaware of during their marriage. Karen described her own unsettling experiences with Jimmy Savile, whom she visited with her husband. She recounted that Savile had once made inappropriate advances, asking her to sit on his knee and grabbing her, which she found deeply disturbing.

Professionally, Johnson has been involved in property management, serving as a director of a city-based property company. He also previously managed the Talk of the Town nightclub located in The Point, Milton Keynes. His personal life has seen turbulence; he met his former wife, Ms. Davison, in 1995, and they married in 2004. However, their marriage lasted only two years, ending in separation after Johnson left her in 2006. She later revealed that she only learned of his criminal past after their relationship had ended, prompting her to contact social services. An assessment conducted by social workers concluded that Johnson posed a low risk, but the knowledge of his past remains a source of distress for those involved.
