HULL PAEDOPHILE LEWIS MILLSON PRETENDED TO BE A DOCTOR TO ABUSE 7-YEAR-OLD GIRL
In March 2021, a heartbreaking case emerged from Hull involving a young girl who was subjected to horrific abuse by a man posing as a medical professional. The victim, a seven-year-old girl, was targeted by Lewis Millson, a 27-year-old resident of Kimmeridge Close in east Hull.
Millson's sinister deception involved pretending to be a doctor, an act that allowed him to gain the child's trust and carry out his malicious intentions.
According to reports, Millson shone a torch at the girl’s genital area under the guise of examining her, which was part of his predatory behavior.
The assault that followed was severe enough to cause internal injuries to the young girl.
The trauma inflicted by Millson was not only physical but also deeply psychological, leaving the child with lasting emotional scars.
The case was brought before Hull Crown Court, where Millson was found guilty of assault by penetration of a child under 13.
During the trial, the court heard the details of the abuse and the devastating impact it has had on the young victim.
The judge, John Thackray QC, delivered a stern condemnation of Millson’s actions, sentencing him to 11 years in prison.
The judge emphasized the profound effect the abuse has had on the girl, stating, “It is clear your offending has had a profound effect on your victim and while the court wishes her well in her recovery, it is clear she may never fully recover.” Millson’s sentence requires him to serve at least two-thirds of his term before being eligible for parole.
Additionally, he has been subjected to an extended license period of one year and is under an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, reflecting the seriousness of his crimes and the ongoing risk he poses.
In an emotional statement, the girl’s mother described the profound changes in her daughter’s behavior since the assault.
She explained that her child, who is naturally trusting and vulnerable, now exhibits signs of distress, including self-scratching and rocking motions.
The mother recounted how her daughter, who used to sleep peacefully with her, now struggles to fall asleep without her presence, often taking up to an hour and a half to settle.
The mother also revealed that her daughter’s behavior at school has worsened, with instances of hurting other children, which was not an issue prior to the abuse.
The mother expressed her feelings of guilt and helplessness, stating, “Since this has happened, it has been a nightmare.
I blame myself every day.
I didn’t see the signs at the time but now I do.
Sometimes I lie there and cry myself to sleep.” She concluded with a hope for healing and moving forward, saying, “I hope we can move on in life.”
