February 2017 Paedophile Kevin Kirk refuses to accept he’s a sex offender A paedophile who refuses to acknowledge his conviction for abusing a young girl has been jailed for the fifth time. Kevin Kirk, 50, was handed a suspended two-month jail sentence on May 24, 2013, after a jury at Hull Crown Court found him guilty of sexually assaulting a girl under 13. Kirk, who has 67 offences to his name, including a conviction for dealing class A drugs, was required to notify police of his address as part of a seven-year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO). However, he was back before the same court on Friday for his fifth breach of the SHPO. Prosecutor Stephen Welch said the latest failure to notify police of his address occurred in December, last year. Kirk committed his first breach in January 2014. For that, he was jailed for four months. He received further spells in prison of six months, 15 months, and 18 months – all for failing to notify police of his address. Kirk, who appeared for his latest hearing on video link from prison, kept swearing and interrupting proceedings, prompting Judge Simon Jack to warn him that he would be led away if he continued his behaviour. Judge Jack carried through with his threat when Kirk continued his tirade. As he was led out of the video link room, Kirk called the judge a “f****ng c**t”. The hearing continued in Kirk’s absence. Jailing him for 18 months, Judge Jack said: “This is the fifth breach of a sexual harm prevention order. He is determined not to accept his conviction. Unfortunately, that is causing him to keep coming into contact with the law and he will have to pay the penalty for that.” January 2017 Convicted paedophile on the run from Humberside Police POLICE are hunting a convicted child sex offender who is on the run.
