August 2020 Scots paedophile who shared child abuse images online jailed for 40 months A Fife paedophile who shared footage of child abuse has been jailed for 40 months. Karl King of Kircaldy was also added to the Sex Offenders Register after the 52-year-old appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday. He was convicted of offences related to indecent images and videos of children, as well as extreme images. Police blasted King as ‘deplorable’ for ‘blatantly ignoring any previous punishment’. King blatantly ignored any previous punishment imposed on him for like offences by sharing graphic images of child abuse with other persons, and in doing so showed no remorse for his actions.
