JORDAN PEARSON OF DUNDEE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES AGAINST YOUNG GIRLS IN DUNDEE
In a case that has shocked the community of Dundee, Jordan Pearson, a 20-year-old man, has been sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of multiple serious sexual offenses involving underage girls.The incidents took place over a span of two years, with Pearson targeting vulnerable young girls at various house parties within the city.
According to court proceedings, Pearson would deliberately arrive late at social gatherings, specifically targeting parties where he could identify intoxicated and underage girls.
His predatory behavior was described by Judge Alison Stirling during the sentencing at the High Court in Edinburgh.
The judge stated, "Your game plan was to arrive late at parties and see who was young and drunk," highlighting the calculated nature of his actions.
During the trial, it was established that Pearson had engaged in sexual acts with two 13-year-old girls who were heavily intoxicated at the time.
These assaults occurred at different addresses in Dundee, with one incident on November 9, 2018, and the other on August 17, 2019.
The court heard that both girls were incapable of giving or withholding consent due to their intoxication, making the acts legally classified as rape.
In addition to these charges, Pearson was convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at a house in Dundee on August 17, 2019, when he attempted to kiss her.
Furthermore, he was found guilty of having illegal sexual intercourse with another girl under the age of 13 in Dundee during 2019.
Despite the convictions, Pearson maintained his innocence, continuing to deny responsibility for the offenses throughout the proceedings.
The court also ordered that Pearson be placed under supervision for an additional three years following his release.
Moreover, he will be registered on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.
Pearson, who was previously residing on Gourdie Road in Dundee, now faces the consequences of his actions, which have left a lasting impact on the victims and the community alike.
