JAMES LAIDLAW FROM DUNDEE SENTENCED FOR HARASSMENT AND ASSAULT AT LOCAL CARE HOME
July 2025 - A 53-year-old man has been accused of committing a sex attack in a Dundee club.James Laidlaw allegedly sexually assaulted another man at The Black Watch Club on Arthurstone Terrace on June 22 this year.
Prosecutors allege Laidlaw indecently touched the man while he was urinating and made sexual remarks towards him.
Laidlaw, of Mauchline Place West, was given an undertaking to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court in connection with the allegation on summary complaint.
Solicitor Jim Laverty asked for the case to be continued without plea.
A case management hearing was fixed by Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane who released Laidlaw on bail with special conditions not to enter the venue or contact the man.
