March 2017 Pervert admits sexually assaulting schoolgirl  A pervert from Rochdale that admitted sexually assaulting a female child has walked free from court  Greg Kieran McKendry, 29-years-old of Belfield admitted the most serious of three charges that he had faced.  The judge questioned whether it was in the public interest to pursue the remaining two charges given they were relatively minor in comparison and would not affect the overall sentence should he be convicted of them all after a trial. It was decided that although the evidence and statements given by the other two victims could of brought further charges, the judge allowed them to ‘lie on file’ Minshull Street Crown Court heard that the victim he did plead guilty to was 14-years-old. McKendry admitted sexual assault which involved sexual touching. One of the two other victims that failed to get justice was nine years old. The other girl was several years older. The offences relating to the older girl involved conversations that were sexually explicit asking if she was a virgin and if she had any sexual interaction before. A decade ago, McKendry had also been convicted of sexual offences relating to a different underage girl. A three year sexual harm prevention order was given and he was told that he must re-register as a sex offender. He was also told that he must not have any unsupervised access to any child aged under 16 years old
