DOUBLE RAPIST CONVICTED OF ATTACKS IN DUNDEE AND PERTHSHIRE
Update believed to be living in perth A double rapist has been convicted of sexual assaults on women in Dundee and is facing jail time.
Darren Cameron, aged 25, was found guilty by a jury of raping two different women on multiple occasions spanning from 2011 to 2019.
The offenses took place at various addresses within Dundee and at a caravan park in Perthshire.
Cameron denied all charges and stood trial at the High Court in Dundee.
However, the majority of the jury found him guilty of crimes including pinning a woman down, performing sexual acts on her, and raping her to her injury during the period between September 1, 2011, and May 31, 2012.
He was also convicted of raping the second woman between July 23 and September 8, 2019.
Cameron was cleared of two other charges in the course of the trial.
The judge, Lord Summers, remanded Cameron in custody ahead of sentencing scheduled for January, awaiting a social work report.
Cameron, of Princes Street, Perth, was placed on the Sex Offenders Register following his conviction.
The case will next be considered at the High Court in Edinburgh.
