CAMERON MITCHELL'S REIGN OF TERROR IN DUNDEE: DOMESTIC ABUSE AND VANDALISM REVEALED
Cameron Mitchell, a resident of Vorlich Avenue in the Panmurefield area of Dundee, has been found guilty of a prolonged campaign of domestic abuse and vandalism directed at his former partner. The disturbing series of events spanned over a year, beginning in July 2022 and culminating in July 2023, during which Mitchell engaged in relentless harassment and destructive acts against the woman.
Throughout this period, Mitchell repeatedly sent offensive and threatening emails, social media voice notes, and messages to his ex-partner.
These communications were not only invasive but also designed to intimidate and cause emotional distress.
The accused accused her of infidelity, further fueling the harassment.
His aggressive behavior extended beyond digital communications, as he also vandalized her vehicle.
During the course of his abusive conduct, Mitchell deliberately scratched the boot and rear window of her car, and pulled at her wing mirrors, causing damage and distress.
On one occasion, witnesses reported hearing Mitchell shouting and swearing at the woman, blaming her for “ruining his plans,” and pleading with her to reconcile.

Mitchell appeared before Dundee Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to the charges on the very day he was scheduled to stand trial.
The court proceedings revealed the extent of his abusive behavior, which had caused significant emotional and material harm to his former partner.
Sheriff Eric Brown sentenced him to a fine of £640 and imposed a 12-month non-harassment order to prevent any further contact or intimidation.
