DUNDEE MAN ADMONISHED FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE INCIDENT OUTSIDE SCHOOL
Dundee Man Admonished for Domestic Abuse Incident Outside School Dundee, Scotland — Billy Conner, an employee of Openreach and resident of Dundee, has been formally admonished under the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018 following a disturbing public incident that left his victim shaken and traumatised.The Sheriff issued an admonishment — a formal warning that carries a criminal conviction and will appear on Conner's record.
This type of conviction will be taken into account should he reoffend.
The incident, which reportedly occurred outside a local school, was the culmination of months of coercive control, threats, and emotional, verbal, and physical abuse.
According to the victim, Conner aggressively sprinted towards them in a public setting, violently seized them by the arms, dragged them, and made threatening remarks, including a threat to head-butt them.
Witnesses observed Conner shouting and baring his teeth in a menacing manner.
He allegedly attempted to provoke the victim into retaliating by goading them in front of onlookers.
In addition to physical intimidation, Conner is said to have launched a barrage of rude, derogatory, and defamatory remarks aimed at damaging the victim’s character.
In a further effort to manipulate the situation, Conner allegedly provided false information to a third party regarding a vehicle incident that followed the assault.
He reportedly attempted to implicate the victim by giving their details to the vehicle’s driver, suggesting they were responsible for the damage.
