DUNDEE MAN ACCUSED OF ASSAULT AND THREATENING TO KILL PARTNER FACES TRIAL
A man accused of assaulting his partner and threatening to kill her is scheduled to face trial in October.
Artur Modzelewski, aged 38, of Buttars Place, has denied the charges that he assaulted Alicja Ladwik last Thursday at Myrekirk Terrace, where he allegedly seized her, pulled her to the ground, straddled her, and placed his hands around her neck, choking her and threatening to kill her.
The trial at Dundee Sheriff Court has been set for October 11, with an intermediate diet on September 20.
Sheriff Alistair Carmichael granted him bail, imposing strict conditions that he must not enter Myrekirk Terrace and should avoid contact or approaching Ms Ladwik.
