Alasdair Cannon, aged 29, has been convicted of five domestically aggravated offences committed between 2013 and 2020, following a trial at Forfar Sheriff Court.
His crimes include physically assaulting partners by seizing one woman by the throat and restricting her breathing, pushing another woman, and striking her head against a car.
Cannon also engaged in threatening behavior, shouting, swearing, and coercive control over three different women.
Despite ongoing offenses, Cannon began a court-ordered domestic abuse rehabilitation programme in 2019, which his solicitor claims has been effective.
The court sentenced him to 300 hours of unpaid work, supervision, and a five-year non-harassment order, acknowledging his remorse and the completion of the rehabilitation programme, with the warning that further misconduct could result in imprisonment.
