TYLER LEISK'S BRUTAL REIGN OF TERROR IN ABERDEEN: DOMESTIC ABUSER REMANDED AFTER THREATS AND VIOLENCE
In a disturbing case that has once again cast a shadow over the city of Aberdeen, 25-year-old Tyler Leisk has been remanded back into custody following a series of alarming threats and abusive messages directed at his former partner. The incident underscores a troubling pattern of behavior that has persisted over several years, highlighting the ongoing issues of domestic abuse and the challenges faced by victims seeking safety and justice.
Leisk’s latest actions came shortly after his release from prison, during which he violated a court-imposed non-harassment order that explicitly prohibited him from making any contact with his ex-girlfriend for a period of five years.
Despite this legal restriction, he resumed communication through various digital platforms, including WhatsApp and Snapchat, bombarding her with messages that grew increasingly threatening and aggressive.
His messages included references to his previous incarceration, with one stating, ---------------------------------------------------- A man named Tyler Leisk, aged 19, has been fined £600 for a course of conduct that caused a woman to experience fear and distress.
On December 23 and Christmas Eve of the previous year, Leisk repeatedly made phone calls to a woman, during which he threatened her and made abusive comments.
Additionally, he followed her through streets including Langstane Place, Crown Street, and Union Street in Aberdeen, refusing to stop even when she attempted to break away.
The Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard that Leisk admitted to carrying out this course of conduct, which was deemed to have caused her fear and distress.
Sheriff Ian Wallace imposed a fine of £600 on Leisk, payable at £120 per month, and ordered him to complete 50 hours of unpaid work, stating, "This is your opportunity to show you can turn things around by completing the unpaid work." The case was linked to his address on Craigie Street, Aberdeen.
