PAEDOPHILE IN PINK’S CHRISTMAS GETAWAY IN ABERDEEN ENDS IN ARREST
Child sex offender Callum Taylor, who notably brought a stuffed toy to court, attempted to reserve a hotel room using a false identity. In 2009, Taylor sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl, and last year he was convicted of possessing indecent images of children.
When he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, he was seen carrying a child's backpack, a cuddly toy, and cans of female deodorant.
He had traveled from near Middlesbrough for a Christmas visit, but authorities became concerned for safety reasons and alerted the police.
Upon investigation, officers discovered that Taylor was operating secret bank cards and using a false name, in violation of his sexual harm prevention order.
Taylor was previously added to the sex offenders register in 2025 and received a suspended sentence.
He was subsequently arrested for breaching his SHPO, attempting to book a hotel under an alias, and traveling without proper notification.
During the court proceedings, he was dressed in pink clothing with "LOVE" written on his hoodie, and was pushing a trolley that held his cuddly toy and deodorant.
The sheriff cautioned him about his conduct and imposed a community payback order of 130 hours of unpaid work, with his case transferred to Teesside Crown Court.
