August 2023 Paedophile fathered a child with woman after release from prison A paedophile and serial child abuser who fathered a child with a woman and failed to tell his probation officer has had his sexual harm prevention order extended. Stuart Lloyd, 37, was jailed in May 2018 for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. He served just over two years. As he was led to the cells, he told her family: “in a couple of years… I’ll get you.” He was found guilty by a jury of two offences of sexually assaulting one child but was cleared of raping a 12-year-old girl a couple of years earlier. He also received a five-year sexual harm prevention order forbidding him from having unsupervised contact with children, or supervised contact with children whose parents/guardians were not fully aware of his past offending. He was released in November 2020, but just one month later he began seeing a woman who had three young children – breaching the conditions of his licence. At Liverpool Crown Court yesterday, prosecutor Karl Scholz said: “He had not mentioned this to the probation officer who had spoken to him before, and he was to say to the officer on that occasion that the relationship was over. “One of the conditions attached to his licence was that he was, upon release from prison, to notify any developing relationship with any person who he knew of believed to be resident in a household with children under 18. The woman had three children all under the age of 12. At that stage nothing further was done because he said he was not going to see her again.” Despite his claims, on January 12, 2023 probation learned that the woman had visited his address. Lloyd, of Cannon Street, Ellesmere Port, was recalled to prison to serve the rest of his sentence until May 23. Applying for Lloyd’s SHPO to be extended for a further five years, Mr Scholz said “other matters had come to light” regarding his past. The court heard the 37-year-old received a 26-week suspended sentence in 2014 for assaulting a two-year-old toddler by hurling a milk bottle at him. Nurses had also noticed bruises on the toddler on “numerous occasions”, but no charges were brought at the time. Mr Scholz said: “It’s also come to light there had been previous aggression to (a three-year-old girl) and she suffered serious injuries including a bleed on the brain – but again, no charges were ever brought.” He added: “Lloyd recently failed to disclose that his new partner had a child born to her by him. In fact his new partner also failed to disclose that he was the father to the child, which meant social services couldn’t determine what requirements would be sought in respect of him.” Lloyd failed to attend court to hear the result of the hearing, though a Cheshire Police officer said he was aware of the application to extend his SHPO. Judge Eric Lamb agreed to extend the SHPO until May 2028 May 2018 Chilling words of paedophile to victim’s family as he was jailed A twisted paedophile threatened his victim’s family as he was jailed – telling them “in a couple of years.. I’ll get you.” Stuart Lloyd, 33, was found guilty of assaulting the 10-year-old girl before addressing her family as he was led to the cells. The father-of-one was convicted by a jury after a trial of two offences of sexually assaulting the ten-year-old child but was cleared of raping a 12-year-old girl a couple of years earlier. Judge Andrew Menary, QC, pointed out that his comment was a “potential contempt of court” but he said he was taking no action about it and commended those in the public gallery for their restrained behaviour during the proceedings. Lloyd, of Cannon Street, Ellesmere Port, was sentenced to five years in prison at Liverpool Crown Court today after a jury heard about the attacks. The girl told how he had kissed her all over her face and put his tongue in her mouth, which the judge described as “gross behaviour by an adult with a ten-year-old child”. Lloyd went on to touch all over her body, including her naked genitalia. The sexual assaults came to light after the victim told her grandmother what Lloyd had done to her and the police were notified. His father and brother attended court to support him
