Wayne Crow

Ellesmere Port Sexual Abuser

October 2017 Hospital porter jailed for sexual offences against a boy A hospital porter has been jailed for six years for sexual offences against a child. Wayne Crow, 56, pleaded not guilty, at Chester Crown Court, to eight sexual offences against a male victim – who was a child at the time. However, a jury found Crow, of Stanlaw Road, in Ellesmere Port, guilty on September 28 and he was sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life. All charges were related to incidents that took place between January 1980 and August 1985. The Countess of Chester Hospital, where Crow worked as a hospital porter, confirmed he was suspended when the allegations first came to light and is no longer employed by the trust. Investigating officer detective constable Robert Moore said: “The victim in this case has suffered greatly over the years and he has shown great bravery and courage in coming forward and talking about what happened to him over 30-years-ago. “Crow has shown a blatant disregard for the victim, making him come to court and give evidence during trial and re-living what happened to him all those years ago. “I hope he will be able to find some justice in the sentence that has been handed down to him.”
