MARK LOCK/BEECH ADMITTED TO ILLEGAL FILMING AT ABERDEEN LEISURE CENTRE
In September 2006, a man convicted of paedophilia admitted to filming women and girls in changing cubicles at an Aberdeen leisure centre nearly 20 years earlier.
Mark Beech, also known as Mark Lock, aged 39 and residing on Collins Avenue in Blackpool, took a video camera into Aberdeen’s Beach Leisure Centre.
He concealed the camera in a holdall and positioned it to record into the cubicles and toilets.
Over a period of three years, he used the device to film females in these private settings.
It is believed that videotapes containing the footage, which spans from 1989 to 1992, were discovered in the loft of Lock's Blackpool home during a police raid linked to a child pornography investigation.
Last year, Lock served a six-month jail sentence for possession of more than a thousand pornographic images.
