JOSEPH COOK BRISTOL SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR ONLINE GROOMING AND SEXUAL COERCION

He made contact with a woman through a dating website, using a profile under the name Jack Barry.
During this interaction, Cook issued threats to share indecent images of her with her friends and family unless she engaged in sexual acts with him.
Fearing that he would carry out these threats, the woman complied and participated in sexual acts with Cook, who was known to her.
This incident underscored the extent of Cook’s manipulative and coercive behavior, which targeted women and girls through digital platforms.
