FAZAKERLEY MAN JAILED AFTER YEARS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE ON PARTNER
James Bilsborrow, 38, from Fazakerley, was jailed for 27 months and made subject to a seven‑year restraining order at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, January 26.
Stevie, a domestic abuse survivor, detailed how he first attacked her in 2022, causing her to feel extremely vulnerable, scared, and depressed.
She described years of controlling behavior, physical violence, harassment, stalking, and threats.
Stevie revealed that she was strangled, hit, and even threatened with a knife by Bilsborrow, which led her to feel suicidal and overwhelmed by emotional pain.
Her statement expressed her desire for closure, safety, and peace, emphasizing the impact of his actions on her mental health and well-being.
