ABERDEEN RUGBY COACH JACK TAIT SENTENCED FOR BRUTAL ABUSE IN SCANDAL
A well-known rugby coach from Aberdeen has been handed a custodial sentence after being found guilty of a series of heinous physical and sexual abuses directed at a woman.
Jack Tait, aged 25, appeared before Aberdeen Sheriff Court to face the charges against him.
He pleaded guilty to multiple counts of abuse, which included both physical violence and sexual misconduct.
The court heard harrowing details of his actions, which spanned over a period of ten months and involved a pattern of cowardly and terrifying behavior.
Among the most disturbing incidents was an occasion when Tait assaulted the woman while she was sleeping, and another where he held a saw to her throat in a threatening manner.
Over the course of their relationship, he repeatedly punched, kicked, and grabbed her by the neck, often accompanied by derogatory remarks aimed at humiliating her.
