July 2012 ‘Dangerous’ sex offender used internet to find teenage Mansfield girls for sex A YOUTH who used the internet to contact under-age Mansfield girls for sex has been branded ‘dangerous’ by a judge and jailed for more than six years. Christopher Schuster, now 20, had intercourse with two girls aged 14 and 15 and also engaged in sexual activity over a web cam with another 14 year-old, Nottingham Crown Court was told. He met up with the first 14 year-old in a tent by the reservoir near King’s Mill Hospital. The court was told a fourth girl, aged 15 and from Nottingham, became pregnant by him and had a child. Judge Tony Mitchell told Schuster, of Leiston Gardens, Top Valley, Nottingham: “You couldn’t even be bothered to use a condom. “You used these children as sex objects and did not care what the consequences were.” And the judge added: ‘At the present time you are a very dangerous person.’ Schuster admitted a total of eight charges including sexual activity with children under 16 and engaging in sexual activity over a web cam. The court heard he was aged between 17 and 19 at the time and the age difference with the girls ranged from two years to more than four years. In mitigation, Gordon Aspden said his client was of previous good character, and was of limited intelligence and immature. The judge told Schuster: “You have grossly abused the internet. You met up with children and flattered them so you could have intercourse with them. “You took away their innocence. They were not old enough to consent.” Schuster was sentenced to six years and 10 months and on his release, usually after serving half, will be on licence for an extended six years. He will be on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life, is disqualified from ever working with children and is subject to a sexual offender prevention order.
