ABERDEEN PAEDOPHILE CHRISTOPHER NOBLE TRANSITIONS TO CHRISTYL KNIGHT WHILE IN JAIL
In a disturbing case originating from Aberdeen, a convicted sex offender has embarked on a secret transformation into a woman while serving time in a Scottish prison.Christopher Noble, aged 32 at the time, underwent gender transition and now goes by the name Christyl Knight.
This change appears to be part of an effort to start anew, as she has taken steps to conceal her previous identity and criminal history.
Christyl Knight is now listed on the sex offender registry under her new name.
She lives alone and adheres to strict conditions imposed upon her early release, which include regular sign-ins at a police station.
However, she has expressed that her license, which mandates these check-ins, is set to expire this week, raising questions about her future freedom and the potential for her to remain under supervision.
The origins of her criminal activity trace back to July 2015, when police in Aberdeen’s Torry area apprehended her following a tip-off from the National Online Child Abuse Agency.
Authorities discovered a disturbing collection of digital material at her residence, including 4,224 indecent photographs and 11 videos depicting children under the age of 13.
The devices seized—comprising a laptop, mobile phone, and USB drive—contained explicit content, with some images showing children as young as six months old.
Further investigation revealed a live web chat on her computer discussing the sharing of child abuse material, highlighting the severity of her offenses.
Noble, at the time, admitted to downloading and distributing over 2,000 vile images.
Her actions led to her being sentenced to 21 months in prison in 2016.
During her incarceration, she underwent gender transition, which she now maintains as part of her new identity.
In addition to her criminal record, Christyl Knight has faced financial difficulties, recently declaring bankruptcy over nearly £19,000 of debt.
She has publicly expressed remorse, stating, “I’ve lost everything.
I regret it.
I’m moving on with my life.” Earlier, in July 2016, Noble appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court to admit to downloading and possessing indecent images of children, as well as distributing them.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of animals, a charge accepted by the Crown.
The court heard that police had traced the illegal material back to his home following a tip-off.
When officers arrived, they found her partner checking the internet history on a laptop, which was still active on the sofa.
The partner was detained, and a search of the premises uncovered the electronic devices containing the illicit content.
Initially, Noble remained silent during police interviews but later expressed frustration that his partner was detained, claiming the images were downloaded from the internet and not personally taken.
His partner denied any knowledge of the content on the devices, asserting she was merely checking the search history when police arrived.
The authorities recovered a total of 4,224 images and 11 videos, depicting children in sexual poses and engaged in sexual activities.
The images ranged from infants to children aged 13.
During the court proceedings, Noble’s solicitor requested background reports before sentencing.
Sheriff William Summers warned that the charges were of a serious nature and indicated that a custodial sentence was likely.
Noble was placed on the sex offenders’ register pending further sentencing, underscoring the gravity of his crimes and the ongoing concern for public safety.
