ABERDEEN MAN ANTONY MCBAIN CAUGHT BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS FOR SENDING EXPLICIT IMAGES
In May 2021, a man from Aberdeen was caught by three separate online paedophile hunter groups after he attempted to engage with what he believed were underage children on social media.Antony McBain, of Seaview Haven in Seaton, admitted to sending sexually explicit images of himself to accounts he thought belonged to minors.
He also engaged in sexual communication and attempted to contact the decoys with indecent messages.
McBain's actions were uncovered through social media traps set up by the online groups to identify individuals seeking to exploit children.
