ANDREI CONSTANTIN'S BRUTAL ABUSE IN ABERDEEN: A SHOCKING CASE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Andrei Constantin, a 33-year-old man from Aberdeen, has been at the center of a disturbing series of domestic violence incidents targeting his former partner.Over a period of time, Constantin engaged in a pattern of aggressive and threatening behavior that left his victim in constant fear for her safety.
His actions included repeated threats, intimidation tactics, and physical assaults that escalated in severity.
One particularly alarming incident occurred when Constantin waited outside his ex-partner’s residence in Aberdeen, openly declaring his intention to cause her harm.
His presence outside her home was not a mere coincidence but a deliberate act of intimidation.
When she attempted to leave her house, Constantin confronted her directly, grabbing her by the throat and forcefully pinning her against a wall.
This violent confrontation was only halted when friends of the victim intervened, risking their own safety to prevent further harm.
The violence did not end there.
On August 28, 2021, Constantin’s aggression culminated in another brutal assault.
As his former partner was leaving her home, he attacked her once again, delivering multiple punches in front of their teenage daughter.
This act of violence not only inflicted physical harm but also inflicted emotional trauma on the young girl who witnessed her mother being assaulted.
Following these incidents, Constantin was brought before the court to answer for his actions.
He pleaded guilty to engaging in a course of conduct that was abusive, which involved repeated assaults, threats, and intimidation tactics aimed at his former partner.
The court took into account the seriousness of his behavior and the impact it had on the victim and her family.
As a result, the judge sentenced Constantin to a community payback order with supervision for a period of one year.
Additionally, he was ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work.
To further protect his former partner from any future harassment, a three-year non-harassment order was also issued, restricting Constantin from making any contact with her.
This case highlights the ongoing issue of domestic violence in Aberdeen and underscores the importance of legal measures to protect victims from abusive partners.
