SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR BREACHING COURT ORDER
A man convicted of sexual activity with a child in Norwich has been jailed for breaching his court order.Tai Mitchell, 23, of no fixed abode, was convicted of four counts of sexual activity with a child in Norwich in 2021.
Following his conviction, Mitchell was placed on the Sex Offenders Register and subject to Sex Offender Notification Requirements (SONR).
He was required to keep the police informed about his whereabouts and personal details.
Mitchell was recalled to prison in June for two days after he failed to comply with the supervision order.
When he was released, he failed to check in with the police within three days of his release from custody.
Mitchell also stole £200 worth of goods from a One Stop in Peterborough on June 27.
He was arrested on Saturday and appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Mitchell admitted to one count of theft from a shop and one count of failing to comply with sex offenders register notifications and received a five-month prison sentence.
