NORWICH MAN TO BE SENTENCED FOR ASSAULTING AND FALSELY IMPRISONING WOMAN
A man has appeared in court after admitting to assaulting a woman in Norwich.Mark Thouless, from the Avenues area of Norwich, was charged with causing actual bodily harm during an incident on July 30, 2022.
He also faced additional charges of false imprisonment and property damage, including the destruction of a mobile phone, on the same day.
Thouless appeared before Norwich Crown Court for sentencing on July 10 after admitting the charges.
The sentencing was postponed until September 1 because he had not yet received a pre-sentence report.
Recorder Nicola Fitches cautioned that these are serious offences that could lead to a prison sentence.
