GRANTHAM MAN STEVEN ASHBURY SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF UNDER-AGE GIRLS IN WORCESTERSHIRE
In August 2019, a man from Grantham, identified as Steven Ashbury, was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to the sexual abuse of two under-age girls over three decades ago. The case was heard at Worcester Crown Court, where Ashbury, aged 63 and residing on Dysart Road in Grantham, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to his past misconduct.Specifically, Ashbury admitted to eight counts of indecent assault against a girl under the age of 14, along with five counts of inciting another girl under 14 to engage in acts of gross indecency. The offences occurred between July 15, 1988, and July 14, 1989, within the county of Worcestershire.
