ROBIN NOBLE FROM HALSTEAD JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE NEAR SEVENOAKS

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community, Robin Noble, a resident of Halstead near Sevenoaks, has been sentenced to prison for a series of heinous crimes involving the abuse of two young children. The offenses spanned over a decade, with one victim subjected to abuse from 2008 to 2012, and the other from 2005 to 2013, highlighting a prolonged period of suffering inflicted by Noble.

Details of the case emerged after the abuse was reported to Kent Police, leading to Noble's arrest on December 13, 2018. The investigation uncovered a disturbing pattern of sexual offenses committed by Noble, who was subsequently charged with multiple counts of sexual misconduct involving children. In addition to these serious charges, Noble faced six counts of making indecent images of children, further compounding the severity of his crimes.

During legal proceedings, Noble, aged 65, pleaded guilty to the charges related to the indecent images but maintained his innocence regarding the other allegations. The case went to trial at Maidstone Crown Court, where a jury found him guilty of 16 sexual offenses involving children after a ten-day trial that concluded on April 1 of this year.

Following the conviction, Noble was sentenced on Monday, May 16, at Southwark Crown Court. The court handed down a sentence of eight years imprisonment, reflecting the gravity of his offenses. Additionally, Noble was placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities. He was also subjected to a sexual harm prevention order, restricting his contact with minors and aiming to prevent any future offenses.

The court heard how Noble subjected his two vulnerable young victims to horrific crimes, actions driven by his own gratification. By choosing to plead not guilty to the majority of the charges, Noble forced his victims to relive their traumatic experiences in court, adding to the emotional toll they have endured.
