RHYS MILLS CAUSES OUTRAGE IN CARDIFF AFTER SECRETLY FILMING TEENAGE GIRL IN BATH
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Cardiff, Rhys Mills, a 47-year-old maintenance operative residing on Brunswick Street in Canton, has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty of secretly filming a teenage girl in her own bath.The incident, which took place over a period of time, involved Mills covertly capturing images of the young girl in various states of undress, including when she was completely naked and during her bath time.
Rhys Mills appeared before Cardiff Magistrates Court to face charges related to his actions.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of voyeurism, specifically for recording a private act without the victim’s consent.
The court was informed that Mills had engaged in these illicit activities on multiple occasions, taking advantage of the girl’s privacy and trust.
Further investigation into Mills’ phone revealed a disturbing collection of images.
Police analysis uncovered numerous indecent photographs of the teenage girl, along with other covertly taken images, including photographs of the lower bodies of unsuspecting women.
Among Mills’ possessions, authorities also discovered a pair of knickers belonging to the teenage girl, which added to the evidence against him.
The court heard that Mills’ actions had caused significant distress and breach of privacy for the young victim.
In light of the evidence, the judge sentenced Mills to 30 weeks in prison.
Additionally, he was ordered to register as a sex offender, a measure intended to monitor and prevent further offenses.
