Rachel Gorton, also known as Rachel Driver, a resident of Accrington Road in Burnley, has been found guilty of illegal dog breeding and selling activities. The conviction was secured following a thorough investigation and prosecution by Animal Protection Services, which uncovered her involvement in operating an unlicensed puppy farm.

Rachel Driver, born on November 3, 1990, has a troubling criminal history, including a previous conviction for attacking a police officer. Despite her past, she continued to engage in activities that jeopardize animal welfare and violate licensing laws.

The court proceedings culminated in her pleading guilty to the charges related to her illegal dog breeding operations. As part of her sentencing, she was ordered to pay a fine of £320. Additionally, she was mandated to contribute £200 towards prosecution costs, reflecting the seriousness of her offenses.

Furthermore, the court imposed a 12-month disqualification order, prohibiting her from dealing in dogs during this period. This measure aims to prevent her from engaging in similar activities in the near future and to protect the welfare of animals from potential exploitation.
