April 2015 Man found with 15,000 indecent images of children after arrest at Heckington Show A paedophile with more than 15,000 indecent images of children was outed after being arrested for taking pictures of women’s legs and bottoms at the Heckington Show. Peter Richard Fox, 62, from Spalding, was arrested at the show in July last year for outraging public decency. As a result of his arrest, police then searched his computers and other storage devices. Officers discovered dozens of discs with indecent images of children on them. He was charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, four counts of making indecent images of children and one count of total possession of 15,644 indecent images of children. Fox pleaded guilty straight away although stated he didn’t do it for sexual gratification. Jailing Fox for seven years, the Judge said he had no doubt that it was for sexual gratification. Detective Inspector Simon Lovett said, “The work undertaken in this case by PC Kirsty Longmuir was painstaking, meticulous and dedicated. “It was detection work at its best. No stone was left unturned in the quest to apprehend this man and bring him to court today. “I am very proud of the work of this officer and the team.”
