He was subsequently banned from teaching for life after admitting to three counts of indecent assault and three counts of gross indecency committed between October 3, 1988, and October 3, 1992. He also pleaded guilty to additional charges of indecent assault involving the same boy from October 3, 1992, to October 3, 1995.
