In a disturbing case presented at Leeds Crown Court, Michelina Lewandowska, a 27-year-old woman, provided harrowing testimony about a violent and terrifying incident involving her former partner, Marcin Kasprzak. According to Lewandowska’s account, Kasprzak employed a Taser to subdue her during the assault. The court heard that after overpowering her, Kasprzak bound Lewandowska’s hands and feet with tape, rendering her helpless. The victim was then placed inside a cardboard box, which was subsequently buried in a shallow grave. To conceal her further, Kasprzak reportedly covered the box with a tree branch, leaving Lewandowska trapped inside for approximately one hour.

Lewandowska described her fear during this ordeal, stating that she believed she was going to die while confined in the makeshift grave. In a desperate bid for survival, she managed to use her engagement ring as a tool to free herself from the bindings. Once free, she flagged down a passing motorist, who helped her contact the authorities and report the attack. Her bravery and quick thinking ultimately led to her escape from what prosecutors describe as a brutal and calculated attempt to eliminate her.

The case is further complicated by the fact that Kasprzak is on trial alongside Borys, both facing charges of attempted murder. Prosecutors argue that Kasprzak’s motive was rooted in his desire to gain custody of their three-year-old son, following the end of their relationship. The prosecution characterizes the attack as a violent effort to remove Lewandowska permanently, driven by personal and emotional motives. Kasprzak and Borys have both denied the attempted murder charges, maintaining their innocence as the case continues to unfold in court.
