Malcolm Googe, of Cavendish Way, Sudbury, was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, when he appeared before Ipswich Crown Court. In total there were 1,289 Category A still images, 1,792 Category B, and 4,854 at Category C. Googe also possesses 104 videos of children, including 14 at Category A. In addition 165 extreme pornography images were found. Googe must now sign the sex offenders’ register for the next 10 years.
