NORWICH MAN JAILED FOR POSSESSING GRAPHIC CHILD ABUSE IMAGES AND ATTEMPTING TO GROOM MINORS
A man named Lee Hull, 54, from Norwich, has been found guilty of possessing and attempting to produce indecent images of children.
Police discovered over 200 indecent images on his phone, including some of the most serious category A images.
The images depicted graphic content, including one of a woman being hanged and another of a woman in her underwear with a breast exposed.
The court heard Hull had contacted decoys posing as minors over four months, using online chats to groom and send disturbing images.
Hull admitted nine counts of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child, two counts of attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act, three counts of making indecent images of children, and possession of extreme pornographic images.
He was arrested after a sting operation by a paedophile hunter group, which resulted in police seizing his phone and uncovering his disturbing digital activity.
Judge Andrew Shaw described Hull as a dangerous offender who posed a risk to the public, stating, 'It doesn't really matter that the people you were attempting to contact weren't in fact children.
