Kamran Tahir, from Burnley, was released from prison recently after he abused a young girl aged 13 but failed to attend appointments with the probation service, which was a condition of his release. Now, police are hunting the 28-year-old so they can send him back to jail. A spokesperson for the police said: “We are looking to find Kamran Tahir who is wanted for recall to prison. “Tahir, 28, whose last known address was in Brennand Street, Burnley, failed to attend appointments with the National Probation Service after his release from prison. “He was convicted in September 2020 of causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. “Tahir is 5ft 9in, with short black hair, a black beard and brown eyes. “Anyone with information about Tahir is asked to email MOSOVOEast@lancashire.police.uk or contact 101 – quoting log 0564 of May 13.”
