PAUL HILL FROM BURNLEY JAILED FOR RAPE OF TWO SCHOOLGIRLS AND NOW BANNED FROM WORKING WITH CHILDREN
In a case that has shocked the local community of Burnley, Paul Hill, aged 37, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term following his conviction for a series of heinous sexual offenses involving two schoolgirls.The crimes, which took place in Burnley and involved disturbing acts of abuse, have left a lasting scar on the victims and their families.
Last Friday, Hill was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Burnley Crown Court after admitting to multiple charges of sexual assault, including two counts of rape.
The court heard that Hill's abuse was particularly severe, as he not only raped the two young girls but also caused both of them to become pregnant.
The court was informed that Hill took the girls to abortion clinics, with one of the girls' uncles being used as a proxy to facilitate the procedure.
In addition to his prison sentence, Judge Stuart Baker, who presided over the case, announced that Hill would be subject to a disqualification order preventing him from working with children.
Although this order should have been issued immediately following the sentencing, it was confirmed that the judge would formally impose the ban later in the week during a separate hearing at Burnley Crown Court.
Hill, who resides on Kinross Street in Burnley, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape and faced additional allegations of indecent assault, unlawful sexual intercourse, and other serious sex offenses.
The court also imposed a three-year extended license period, during which Hill will be closely monitored, and ordered him to register as a sex offender on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
The case has garnered significant attention within the community, highlighting the importance of safeguarding children and the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to bring such offenders to justice.
