March 2022 Paedophile who sexually abused girl, 13, ‘laughed and fell asleep’ in court A man who sexually abused a 13-year-old girl and then ‘laughed and fell asleep’ in court has been jailed for nine years. Joshua Krogulski, 27, of Spruce Walk in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, has been jailed after he was found guilty of three counts of sexual activity with a child. Krogulski targeted the 13-year-old in 2018 when he was 24 He denied the charges and claimed he did not know the true age of the girl. But that has been disputed by her family and Krogulski was found guilty by a jury of the three counts. A representative for the girl’s family said Krogulski laughed and fell asleep during the trial which was held at Bradford Crown Court.  On Friday, he was jailed for a total of nine years and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for an indefinite period. Krogulski was also made the subject of an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
